Pawel Interview #2
Questions by Shanen
Yes, we have "talked" to Pawel & these answers are 100% from him. Do not take this for your own site. This is copyrighted S&L 10.99
Pawel: Hello Again!
Sorry it has taken soooooooo long.
I hope that all is going well.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Thanx,
Pawel
S&L: What do you think of S&L's Pawel Page so far?
Pawel: I'm honored. It's great!
S&L: What is your favorite thing about our site?
Pawel: The two people behind it!
(Shanen's Personal Note: Let's all have a moment of aweeee)
(Lisa: :) awww)
S&L: What is your favorite subject to photograph?
Pawel: life, movement of the physical, as well as of emotions
S&L: So, you don't have a girlfriend?..............
Pawel: tee hee... there is this one girl that I admire, unfortunately, I fear that
she thinks that I am a dog. I don't have too much patience for nonsence. I
am very "straight up" with women that I am attracted to. I honestly feel
that I give very little, if any reason for doubt. So if someone doesn't
reciprocate the way that I feel, then I usually take a hike. At the moment,
I see myself tying the laces on my boots.
S&L: Do you keep in touch with *everyone* from the RR:Semester at Sea cast?
Who don't you talk to? Why/why not....
Pawel: I've kept in touch with everyone.
S&L: Do you have any pets?
Pawel: Never ask that of a New Yorker. There are many ummmmm shall we say critters in them darn concrete hills!
S&L: What was your childhood like?
Pawel: I honestly hated it at the time, but now I look back and love it. yeah
there where alot of f***ed up things like the whole situation with my
father. But the way I see it, thats what makes me, well, me. So I wouldn't
trade a single event. I do have to say that I owe alot to my mother. She
was always there. Working six-seven days a week yet still managed to be a
mom. She was the one that would do fatherly things like take me fishing.
Unfortunately, she knew not of baseball... (see episode 1)
(Shanen's bonus question: Do you sing in the shower? If yes, what songs
come to mind? Hee hee hee)
Pawel: occasionally, Wu Tang Clan, Just kidding, Whenever I find myself singing its usually a song that I wrote, for myself.
S&L: What can you tell us about your family?
Pawel: There's three of us now. My mother, brother, and myself. We really do
stick together. That way we are impossible to brake. We all love
traveling. Often we go on trips together. Camping, hiking, sailing,
rafting, fishing (My mom and me only, my brother hates fish).
S&L: What 3 words would you use to describe yourself?
Pawel: Humble yet shivalrous and appreciative
S&L: Can you give us some info about the Photo Relief project?
Pawel: PhotoRelief.com is an idea that came to me when I realized a new way that I can use my photography to help people. It is a not-for-profit organization. It will consist of (among other things) a gallery on the net where people can click-help a humanitarian effort-and hang an example of their donation on a wall. The goal is simply to sell artwork in order to raise funds. It will not be limited to my work or photography in itself. The organization is nearing its launch, which should be around Thanksgiving.
Shanen: Thanx Pawel, you're such a great guy. Let's keep in touch!
Lisa: Thanks. I can't wait to see PhotoRelief!
